SM Mall of Asia brings once again the most awaited festival of lights parade of the year – The MOA Grand Festival of Lights Parade, now on its 10th year.


Holidays are more magical and memorable at the SM Mall of Asia as Santa’s magical friends, Leo the Lion, Hailey the Hippo, Gerry the Giraffe, Macky the Monkey, Cyril the Squirrel, Benny the Bunny, Elly the Elephant and Hanna the Panda are back and to join the parade for a Winter Wonderland Christmas adventure as they ride the six magical floats set to music and dance the night away. Together with Oppo, Lady’s Choice, Toy Kingdom, SM Store, PLDT, SMART and Coca-Cola, this year’s festivity is set to be the most memorable parade ever.


The most anticipated holiday tradition at MOA will be a feast for the eyes and bring awe to all kids and kids-at-heart as they experience a multi-sensory parade like no other. Everything is made biggest and brightest with six over the top winter Christmas floats come to life together with over a hundred characters dancing and spreading happiness to all capped with the spectacular fireworks display at Seaside Boulevard.


Every Saturday starting November 24, 2018 until Christmas Day, 5:30PM at North and South arcades, our customers will be in for a special treat and will experience more magical moments with family and friends.


Staying true to our promise of being the best destination this Holiday season, SM Mall of Asia has a lot of activities in store for everyone such as the meet-and-greet sessions with Santa and his MOA magical friends. Debut of brand new in-app game, Shopee Quiz

 

To add to the celebrations, Shopee will also be launching its brand new in-app game, Shopee Quiz, during Shopee 12.12 Big Christmas Sale. The interactive live quiz will require users to answer a series of questions in order to win from a prize pool of hundreds of thousands of Shopee Coins. Shopee Quiz sessions will be happening daily at 9 PM from December 4 to December 11, and at 12 noon and 9 PM on December 12.

In addition, Shopee’s trademark in-app game, Shopee Shake, returns for one last run in 2018. Users should watch out for Shopee Shake sessions happening twice daily at 12 noon and 7PM throughout the campaign, and eight times on December 4, 11, and 12.

 
Shopee presents the Wish Bus Tour with Jose Mari Chan


In partnership with Wish 107.5, Shopee will be holding an exclusive bus tour with Shopee’s Christmas ambassador, Jose Mari Chan. On November 26, the Shopee Wish Bus Tour will make several stops around Metro Manila for live Christmas performances, games and giveaways. The different stops for the tour were determined by users who voted via the Shopee app, with Starmall EDSA, Shaw; Ayala Triangle, Makati; and Market! Market!, Taguig City emerging as the top three voted locations.

On November 26, users can head down to the three locations to meet Jose Mari Chan live in person or tune in to the happenings of the Shopee Wish Bus Tour streamed live on Shopee’s Facebook page. I'm always excited to see bright and shining Christmas decorations, maybe because it never fails me to amaze in an unexplainable  way. What a shiny gold Christmas Tree in Seda Hotel, knowing as well about their partnership with Smile Train. Christmas is truly a great season for love and sharing smiles to others.

For the second year in a row, Smile Train, the world's leading cleft charity will partner with Seda Hotels to brig forever smiles to children with clefts this Christmas season. All Seda properties will be participating and selling Smile Train ornaments and Christmas cards at their locations to benefit the charity, including the newly opened Seda Ayala Center Cebu and Seda Lio in El Nido, Palawan.


"During the first year of our partnership, the Seda Community raised enough funds to help support more than 30 surgeries. We are positive that we will be able to help more children this year,"said Mr. Brett Hickey, Group General Manager of Seda Hotels. "As Seda continues to engage in a number of CSR activities, we would like to give our guests and employees the opportunity to help change the lives of many Filipino children with clefts especially during the holiday season."

Seda Vertis North Tree Lighting Event

To mark the second year of the partnership, Seda Vertis North hosted a tree lighting event and art exhibit benefiting Smile Train. Individuals brought their family and friends to witness the beautiful lights filling the scene. The experience was made even better with the sweet sound of Christmas carols that filled the air as these were sung by a group of Smile Train's cleft patients.


An art exhibit was presented at the Seda Vertis North lobby which will extend until December 9. All the artwork is up for sale and will benefit Smile Train. The artists include: Sinag De Leon, a UP Film Institute artist who specializes in making art out of paper cut-outs: Ivy Lim, a full time artist with a background in fine arts who is celebrated locally and internationally for designs and packaging of fast-moving consumer goods; Roberto Snachez, a DJ and entrepreneur by trade, the Philippines and Bangkok; and Arthit Pansuay, an award-winning Thai artist whose work is currently featured in an exhibit in London.

Everything is merry and bright at SM City North EDSA as it celebrates a Glitter Critter Christmas dor kids of all ages.

Leading the festivities are the mall's Glitter Critter Characters from Planet Hapitu, who led by Cap, looked for explorers from the netizens of Planet Hapitu to join him on his mission to find the happiest place in the universe. The Critters made their biggest discovery and found a spectacular place full of wonder and joy in SM City North EDSA.

After their arrival, the Glitter Critter Characters discovered Christmas and decided to make it even more festive and fun.

Cap together with the Glitter Critters transformed the Block and Skygarden into a happy play park in glittering lights where the Glittet Critters play around and enjoy holiday season.

At the Skygarden, one can find Glitter Critter play park installations: the KIDS Mountain, the Space Shuttle Sleigh which Baloo and Baba pilot to deliver gifts and Christmas magic; and the Fun Christmas Roller Coaster Ride, which kids can share with their new-found friends.

Likewise, SM City North EDSA will make the world go RAWR this Christmas during the special Meet and Greet sessions with the glitter Critter Characters on November 17, 24 and December 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 at The Block and Skygarden.


They will gey to meet up close Cap, the wisest of the critter bunchand the captain of the expedition; Boom, the DJ of the critter planet who loves music; Chum the foodie always hungry critter who thinks of food all the time; and Lox, the Mischievous critter who stalks Cap, sneaking into the ship to join the expedition.

Kids will be spellbound with A Magical Science Show by Nutty Scientist on November 30 and December 16; and get a chance to share their wishes as they Meet and Greet Santa on December 2, 9, 23, 24 and 25, at The Block Atrium.

Christmas is definitely in the air with live performances from the NU Chorale on December 7,as well as Ben&Ben, Keiko Necessario,Leanne & Naara and December Avenue.

Northern skies will light up with the Grand Firework Display on December  15, 22 and 29.
